Files that don't open yet
TinyOffice shows a message instead of opening these formats: .doc, .rtf, .odt, .ppt, .pps, .odp, .ods, .xlsb, .pages, .key and .numbers.
How saving works
TinyOffice edits the original file — there's no import step. When it saves a .docx, .xlsx or .pptx, it rewrites only the parts you changed and writes the rest of the file back exactly as it was. That's why documents keep working in Microsoft Office after you edit them here.
New files are saved to Documents/TinyOffice unless you choose another folder.
Recovery
Docs and Sheets keep a recovery copy while you work. If the app closes unexpectedly, reopening the file shows Recovered version found with Restore and Discard.
Making TinyOffice your default app
The installers register TinyOffice for its file types. To make it the default, use Get Info → Open with → Change All on macOS, or Open with → Choose another app on Windows.
