Your files stay on your computer
- Documents are opened, edited and saved locally. Nothing is uploaded unless you put it in TinyCloud or send it to an AI model.
- PDF conversion and OCR run on your computer.
- TinyOffice does not send anonymous usage analytics.
What's sent when you use AI
The content you give the assistant goes to the model you're using — TinyOffice AI, or the provider you connected with your own key.
Usage records when signed in
So your plan and credits stay accurate, TinyOffice records AI usage while you're signed in. For each AI turn or tool call it sends:
- the provider, model and token counts
- the tool used, its status and how long it took
- your time zone, the app version and a random install ID
- a one-way hash of the conversation ID (not its content)
Usage sync is always on when signed in, and nothing is sent when you're signed out.
