TinyOffice's assistant can read, write and reorganise your work — but it asks before it changes anything. It comes in three scopes.
File agent
Open the AI Panel in any editor (Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDF or Markdown). The File agent works on the document in front of you:
- Rewrite a section, fix tone or proofread.
- Fill a sheet, build formulas or summarise data.
- Draft slides from an outline.
- Summarise a PDF or pull out its key points.
Each change arrives as a proposal you review. Turn on Track changes in the panel and the agent's edits land as tracked revisions you can accept or reject like anyone else's. Snapshots let you Roll back to an earlier version.
Project agent
Open a folder in My Drive and the Project agent works across the whole folder: it searches and reads files, creates new ones and reorganises them. Use it for "turn these meeting notes into a report" or "rename these files by date".
Global assistant
AI Assistant in the sidebar — and Quick Chat from anywhere on your computer — is the assistant that knows your workspace. It can:
- Answer from your notes, book highlights and task boards.
- Create notes and task cards for you.
- Work with your folders and the date and time.
Tools
With TinyOffice cloud tools on, the assistant can also search the web, generate images, and analyse images and audio. These tools run through TinyOffice and use credits.
You can connect more tools with MCP servers → Add server, using either an HTTP URL or a local command.
Next: Review and approve changes.
