An AI assistant that asks before it edits
TinyOffice's assistant works in three scopes — your file, a folder, your whole workspace — and every change it wants to make waits for your approval.

AI that can edit your documents is genuinely useful. AI that edits your documents without telling you is a liability. We designed TinyOffice's assistant around one rule: it proposes, you decide.
Three scopes
File agent. Open the AI Panel in Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDF or Markdown and the assistant works on the file in front of you: rewrite a section, fix the tone, fill a column, build formulas, draft slides from an outline, summarise a PDF.
Project agent. Open a folder in My Drive and the assistant can work across it — search and read files, create new ones, reorganise them. "Turn these meeting notes into a status report" becomes a single request.
Global assistant. On the Home screen and in Quick Chat, the assistant knows your workspace: your notes, book highlights and task boards. It can answer from them and create notes and cards for you.
How approval works
When the assistant wants to change a file, you get a review card:
- Proposed change explains what it wants to do.
- View changes shows Before and After.
- You choose Apply or Skip.
For anything else it needs to do, you see Allow once or Deny.
In documents, you can go one step further: turn on Track changes in the File agent and its edits land as tracked revisions, exactly like a colleague's. Snapshots let you roll back to an earlier version.
Auto-approve, on your terms
Approving every single read gets old fast, so you can switch on Auto-approve for Read, Create or Project content. Even with project content on, moving files and sending them to the Trash always ask. Those are the actions that are hardest to notice and undo.
Tools beyond text
With TinyOffice cloud tools on, the assistant can search the web, generate images and analyse images and audio. You can also connect your own tools through MCP servers — by URL or by a local command.
Getting started
Sign in to use TinyOffice AI — there's no API key to paste, and usage comes out of the credits in your plan. Then open any document and click AI Panel.
